In recent years, we have experimented with the use of biomass pellet as a replacement for coal in generating electricity at our Vietnam Factory and has 100% coal removal this year.
The results have been encouraging, with over 900 tons of biomass pellet used in a single year—a promising step towards greater energy efficiency and sustainable manufacturing. Given the successful introduction of biomass energy in our Vietnam Factory, we plan to upgrade our China Factories by installing a new biomass-enabled boiler.
Our Hong Kong office underwent a comprehensive renovation in mid-2024. A key part of this upgrade was replacing the old water-cooled air conditioning system with a high-efficiency, energy-saving VRV system and switching all lighting to LED fixtures.
These enhancements have not only modernized the office aesthetic and improved the work environment for our staff but have also delivered significant energy savings. Since the renovation was completed, the office’s monthly electricity consumption has been reduced by 20%. This initiative lowers operational costs and underscores our commitment to environmental sustainability and energy conservation.
