Position: B2B Textile Trims Sales Representative
Location: Herzogenaurach, Germany
Position Overview:
The B2B Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between the company and apparel brand partners. This role is responsible for nurturing long-term relationships, driving sales growth of our textile trims and garment accessories solutions, and ensuring these solutions align with the evolving needs of apparel brands. The ideal candidate combines strong B2B sales skills with solid industry knowledge in textile trims/garment accessories to build trust and deliver value.
Important: This role requires frequent in-person client visits in the Herzogenaurach area. Candidates are expected to be based within a reasonable commuting distance to Herzogenaurach. Long-distance commuting (more than 1 hour) is not recommended for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management
- Act as key contact for apparel brand clients mainly in Herzogenaurach, regularly travel within Germany to meet different assigned customers
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with trim developers and designers, get nomination especially the key programs
- Conduct regular in person meetings with clients to understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities. Share visiting plan to department director in weekly basis
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with apparel brands.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations to showcase company products and services.
- Track and report on monthly sales performance and pipeline activity to department director
- Collaborate with internal teams in China / Hong Kong for sample development status and solution, to ensure seamless service delivery. Follow up from development to approval.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meeting
- Work with brand partners to co-create initiatives that strengthen collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in textile trims, garment accessories or apparel supply chain
(Retail store / shop floor sales experience does NOT qualify)
- Strong network in garment industry (esp the apparel brands) will be preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English, speaking in German is a plus
- Strong team player with cross cultural cooperation
- Basic knowledge about soft trims like elastic, drawcords, webbing, etc. is a plus
